GAMOCEAN / KRILLION FIELD GUIDE

How to Play Krillion — Scoring & Answer Guide

Learn the seven-prompt format, answer tiers, rare-answer strategy and the difference between official and practice scores.

Official answer tiers

Tier	Recorded points
One in a Krillion	100
Deep Cut	85
Rare	60
Schooler	30
Too Clever	15
Plankton	10

A missed prompt scores zero. Not every prompt necessarily has a 100-point answer. GamOcean practice uses 30, 60, 85 and 100 preset points.

Seven prompts. One good idea at a time.

In the official daily dive, read the exact category and restrictions, then submit one answer within the displayed time. Each accepted answer receives a recorded tier. Use the game’s on-screen instructions for the current rules.

How rarity works

Official rarity is not a live count of how many people typed your answer today. The official FAQ describes familiarity data, assisted curation and manual review. The top Krillion pick also considers how satisfying the answer is.

Read the restriction before chasing a gem.

“A country” and “a country with a desert climate” are different questions. Check dates, minimum counts, region and exclusions. A short, valid answer you can spell is often more useful than an obscure answer that does not fit.

Missing does not mean false.

The official FAQ says fair answers can be missing from curated sets. Our checker only reports whether a spelling exists in a dated record. A close spelling suggestion is not a guarantee that the live game accepts it.

Daily, official Unlimited, and GamOcean practice

The official daily dive and official Endless Dive run on krillion.io. GamOcean practice has 70 original prompts and four preset practice point values. Its prompts and points are independent of official dated records.

A useful practice routine

Try a category without a timer. Read the answer review, save a few memorable answers, then retry missed prompts. Switch to the timed challenge when you can recall them quickly.
